Privacy Policy
DemoDrop is a small, owner-operated outreach tool. It finds businesses whose websites could be improved, prepares a free website audit and a concept preview for them, and sends them one email about it. This page explains what information it uses and how.
Business information we collect
- Public details from Google Maps listings: business name, category, address, rating, review count and website.
- The public business email address shown on the business's own website, and the page where we found it.
- Publicly available content from the business's website and listing (text, logo and photos), used only to build that business's private concept preview.
- Automated test results for the business's current website (speed, mobile-friendliness, accessibility and basic SEO).
How we use it
- To prepare a free audit and a concept preview for that business.
- To send at most two emails: one introduction and one follow-up. We never email a business again after it replies "STOP" or does not reply to the follow-up.
- To track replies and any resulting work in a private spreadsheet.
We do not sell, rent or share this information with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising. We rely on legitimate interest under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 for this business-to-business outreach.
Google user data
DemoDrop connects only to its operator's own Google accounts, to send and read outreach email in Gmail and to keep the tracking spreadsheet in Google Sheets and Google Drive. It does not access anyone else's Google account. Data received from Google APIs is used only for those purposes, is not shared with third parties, and is not used to train AI models.
DemoDrop's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
- Concept previews and audit pages are taken offline 30 days after sending if there is no reply, and the working copies are deleted by day 35.
- The spreadsheet row for a business is kept so that we never contact an opted-out business again. Ask us and we will delete it, keeping only what we need to honour your opt-out.
Your choices
Reply "STOP" to any DemoDrop email, or write to the address below, to stop all contact or to ask what we hold about your business, have it corrected, or have it deleted.
